Sash Industry was established in 1988 as the very first specialist sash window installer. With a pioneering spirit, we researched and developed innovative methods of draught proofing for sliding sash windows – increasing the energy-efficiency of period buildings without compromising the fine features of the original Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. In the year after the business was set up, word of our services spread fast. After enjoying immediate success with private houses in Oxford and Witney, Sash Industry was quickly awarded a contract with the beautiful Worcester College at Oxford University. Over the next four years, we draught proofed and renovated the sashes throughout the whole college; some 540 windows, restored to visual splendour and practical functionality by our expert period window installers.
